This page explains how to request deletion of data that DealerZone holds about you or your dealership, including data associated with services you have connected to your account such as Facebook and Meta. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and why.
To request deletion of your data, email support@dealerzone.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. To help us locate the correct records, please include:
We will confirm receipt of your request, verify that it comes from someone authorized to make it, and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we cannot delete certain records because we are legally required to retain them, we will tell you which records and why.
If your dealership connected DealerZone to Facebook or Meta, the connection is made to your business portfolio rather than to an individual person’s Facebook profile. For that connection we store:
Through that connection we send your vehicle inventory — vehicle details, images, pricing, and descriptions — to the catalog you authorized. We do not request or retain personal Facebook profile information such as friend lists, messages, or personal posts.
You do not need to email us to remove this data. You can disconnect the integration at any time from the Add-ons section of your DealerZone admin. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token and the business and catalog identifiers listed above, and removes the vehicle listings DealerZone created in that catalog.
You can also revoke DealerZone’s access directly from Meta, in your business portfolio settings under the section listing connected apps and integrations. Revoking access from Meta stops DealerZone from being able to reach your catalog, but it does not by itself delete the records we hold. To remove those as well, disconnect in your DealerZone admin or email us using the instructions above.
DealerZone integrates with a number of marketplaces, listing sites, and vendors on your behalf. The same process applies to all of them: disconnect the integration from the Add-ons section of your admin, or email us and tell us which service you want removed. Note that data you have already published to a third-party service is governed by that service’s own data practices, and you may need to contact them separately to remove listings they continue to hold.
When you delete data from your account, it may remain available for up to thirty days in case you would like to restore it. After that period, the deleted content may remain on our backups and caches until purged. This matches the retention described in our Privacy Policy.
If you are unsure what data we hold, you may request a copy before deciding what to delete. Either way, write to support@dealerzone.com and we will help.
