Job Description

DealerZone is an automotive technology company that helps auto dealers manage their inventory and market their vehicles online. We are looking for a driven Growth Lead to be the founding member of our sales team and help build our dealer network from the ground up. This is a full-cycle sales role where your earning potential and career growth are directly tied to how you perform — there is no ceiling.

Responsibilities

Core Sales

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Build outbound pipeline targeting dealer principals, GMs, and internet/BDC managers
  • Run discovery calls, demos, and close new dealership accounts
  • Identify and pursue dealer groups and multi-rooftop opportunities
  • Manage ongoing dealer relationships post-sale to drive retention, satisfaction, and upsell opportunities

Growth & Marketing

  • Refine and improve our company branding and market strategies. Suggest product upgrades to improve sales and income streams.
  • Improve outbound performance (email, cold calling, LinkedIn) based on response and conversion data
  • Refine positioning and messaging to better resonate with dealership buyers
  • Track what's working and what isn't, and adapt accordingly

Product & Feedback Loop

  • Translate dealer objections, lost deals, and feature requests into clear product recommendations
  • Identify gaps vs competitors and propose high-impact feature improvements
  • Surface patterns from customer conversations to guide roadmap priorities

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the automotive retail industry — understanding how dealers buy, sell, and operate is critical
  • Strong outbound B2B SaaS sales skillset with the ability to quickly learn the dealership market and buyer psychology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a significant plus
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently with minimal structure
  • Maintain a clean pipeline and clear visibility into deal progress
  • Applicants based in Florida are preferred, but open to anywhere in the USA

Compensation

  • $3,800/month base
  • Commission is 20% of MRR
  • At the start this is a 1099 contractor position -- If you onboard around 10+ deals/dealerships, then we would be excited about converting this into a salaried position and benefits and increase your pay accordingly. Your success is also our success.
